Chicago-based composer/pianist Amy Wurtz took ten years to study her monthly cycle and

create music for piano which was specifically composed on each day of her cycle, then invited

artists of other media to work in the same manner. On Sunday, September 27, at 3:00 pm, in

Wicker Park’s swanky Clara Bar, 2027 W. North Ave, Chicago 60647, Wurtz and artists Erin

O’Neill, Carmen Petralia and Anna Lentz present music, textiles, ceramics, and paintings

created from each artist’s expresssion of emotion, energy, physiology, and feeling throughout

their menstrual cycle.
